RAGAN JOINS MRN XFINITY BROADCAST AT PHOENIX

FRONT ROW MOTORSPORTS DRIVER DAVID RAGAN TO JOIN MRN XFINITY BROADCAST AT PHOENIX

CONCORD, N.C. (November 7, 2017) – Motor Racing Network will add Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver David Ragan as an analyst for Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series, Ticket Galaxy 200 at Phoenix Raceway. The race can be heard on Saturday, November 11 at 3:00pm ET on local MRN affiliates or streamed live to any mobile device at MRN.com or the free MRN APP. Ragan, who will drive the No. 38 1000bulbs.com Ford in Sunday’s Can-Am 500, is no stranger to the MRN booth in Phoenix. Earlier this year, he helped call the spring XFINITY race and brought great insight to the broadcast. “We are thrilled to have David Ragan join us again in the booth at Phoenix Raceway,” said MRN President and Executive Producer David Hyatt. “He has raced in all three national series and has a great knack of pointing out the important nuances that only a driver with his experience can truly bring to the fans. Hopefully he might even pick up a thing or two from our vantage point that will help him on Sunday.” The 31-year-old driver from Unadilla, Ga., currently sits 30th in Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series point standings with 3 top-10’s on the year. Ragan is approaching 400 career starts in the Cup Series and returns to Phoenix Raceway hoping to score a top-10 finish at the track for the first time since 2008. “I think it will be cool to be in the booth for the final elimination race of the XFINITY Series,” said Ragan. “There will be a lot of drama on the racetrack, and the MRN guys do an excellent job of telling those stories and relaying everything that’s going on to the fans at home. There will be a lot of pressure among the drivers on track, a lot of excitement up in the booth with the broadcast team, and it will be fun to be a part of it.” ABOUT MOTOR RACING NETWORK Motor Racing Network – “The Voice of NASCAR,” now in its 48th year of broadcasting, is a wholly owned subsidiary of International Speedway Corporation and the primary source for NASCAR stock car racing and related radio programming.
